AallStarLimo
We created the original Aallstar website for Frosty in 2004. You can still see it if you click on the Original Aallstar link. There are many more beautiful limousine websites now, but at the time our website was one of the best in Macon. Frosty went to jail in 2005 and he transferred ownership of the website and domain to us. We originally thought he would return and take it back but that never happened.
Mr Hill, who worked for Frosty, started his own limo business, which I believe was called Central Georgia Livery. As people were still calling the Aallstar site we began taking bookings and farming them out (giving them to another company.) The standard business fee for a farmed out job was 20%. It always seemed a little excessive to me, so we only charged 10%, which was therefore a bargain.
In the beginning we would give the booking to whichever Macon limo company had the correct vehicle, an opening, and wanted it, but after a few bookings it became clear some of the local limo companies were dishonest. The first major booking we took for over $2000 stiffed us entirely, so we never gave them a booking again. One of the other limo companies had the tendency to arrive late. And there was another, it did not matter what price was agreed upon, he would add more charges at the time of giving the ride, at the customer’s expense. We called him Mr. Plus Plus Plus.
Mostly we worked with Mr. Hill. He was honest, reliable, trustworthy and did what he said and provided the service he promised. We liked Mr. Hill and we liked working with him very much, but unfortunately he died. His son took over the business. We worked with him for a while but he was always difficult so we gave it up.
I personally drove limo, not in Macon, for about 4 or five years. There are many many stories I could tell and some of them I will.
